Mountain View Bible Church does not incorporate a traditional giving time during our Sunday service. Instead, we ask our regular attendees to place their tithes and offerings in a “giving basket” (located in the back as you come in and go out) sometime before or after the service. In this way, our guests will not feel obligated to put something in the basket as it is passed around (the traditional way). In addition, we do not want anyone to feel awkward during our meetings.
We want all of our members and guests to feel comfortable and at ease. Mountain View does not expect it’s guests to feel obligated to give.
