Our Pastor and a co-founder of Mountain View Bible Church, Eric’s passion is preaching and teaching God’s Word in a way that is clear, relevant, and applicable to everyday life. His sermons are always straight out of the Bible. Eric regularly approaches his messages with a tone that expresses his need to grow just like everyone else.
Eric began his ministry journey in the late 80’s, early 90’s leading worship and various youth ministries. He worked at Christian summer camps, led youth groups, taught Sunday School and eventually found his way to seminary. Eric’s heart has always been driven to proclaim the grace and glory of God found in the Gospel of Jesus and to serve His people.
Eric is a graduate of Southern California Seminary. He and his wife, April, are co-founders of Motl Ministries, a non-profit organization devoted to bringing God’s Word into the everyday lives of His people. Eric and April are passionate about sharing God’s Word in a way that relates to the daily issues faced by married couples, men, women and teens.
